I am most passionate about allowing my patients to get the most out of their treatment experience as is possible. This includes great medical care but is not limited to that. The cancer experience for the patient also involves a reordering of their lives, their way of viewing the world. There is a lot of opportunity for personal growth during that time frame. I am committed to treating the whole patient which includes the emotional and spiritual needs of the patient also. I am based out of Columbia, but travel to Marshall to see patients on most Mondays.
I have written a book titled The Song of the Bear. It is fiction. I have no professional publications.
I enjoy being an active member of my church. I am a leader in a bible study group. I enjoy writing. My wife and I enjoy traveling, golfing, and skiing with our family.
I have been married to my wife Nathalie for 27 years. I have three children. My oldest is in medical school. My middle child has graduated college and is living in Kansas City. My youngest child Michael is working here in Columbia.
We help feed the poor once every two months at a local church. I also lead a bible study group.
